Hi,I'm Alice and I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health and well-being through a therapeutic approach that combines Yoga Therapy, Pilates, and Sound as Complementary Therapy.
With over 20 years of experience as a Paramedic in the NHS, I witnessed the life-saving effects of medication and surgery. However, I also observed a concerning reliance on pharmaceuticals without exploring lifestyle changes for improved health. Inspired by the positive impact of Yoga, I delved into its scientific foundations and embraced a holistic lifestyle to address chronic conditions.
I believe in the power of integrating four core pillars of health: movement, mindfulness, diet, and sleep. For example, Type 2 diabetes can be managed through an extremely low-calorie diet, alongside regular movement, mindfulness practices, and restful sleep. By prioritising these pillars, we can enhance mental well-being and overall health.
Through my training in Yoga and Pilates, my Medical Degree, experience as an NHS Paramedic and in Mental Health, and training in Counselling and Sports Psychology, I have acquired extensive knowledge. I understand that Yoga is not solely a physical practice but a way of life that nurtures mental well-being, emotional balance, and optimal health.
