What is Sound Therapy?
Music or sound therapy is the practice of using different sounds to improve your physical health and emotional wellbeing, it is a complimentary therapy that can take multiple forms from guided meditations to sound baths.
This powerful therapy is a forgotten ancient practice that is beginning to re-emerge to help people towards optimal health and healing in the modern world.
Frequencies (some we can hear some we cannot) synchronize brain waves to achieve profound states of relaxation, this relaxed state provides the perfect environment for restoration of vibratory frequencies at a cellular level in our bodies.
Sound is proven to shift frequencies from low energy of guilt and fear to higher vibrations of love and joy. The power of music is experienced every day around the world when we hear a favourite song that is played from our playlist.
Sound baths are usually performed with participants sitting or lying down, listening to musical instruments that produce frequencies to promote good health. Participants do not need any experience to enjoy a sound bath, just the ability to lie down quietly, comfortably and relaxed to allow the therapeuatic vibrations to take effect.

This is the musical instrument collection that I play. My favourite musical instrument is my handpan, I also have a selection of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan metal sound bowls, a crystal triangle, a wave drum, a rain stick, a shamanic drum, a xylophone and Koshi wind chimes.
I absolutely love playing this set of musical instruments and am in awe of the positive sensations and benefits people describe after experiencing a 'Sound Bath'.
